Tactical fitness is teaching the body to act as an integrated whole in every action. Its goal is simple: to increase the body’s ability to perform as a single motorized unit under stressful conditions.
Progressive exercises chosen are functional, improvised movements. They are made to challenge the neuromuscular system, i.e. how your brain and your muscles communicate. Effort will come from efficient movement, thus minimizing discomfort and maximizing the benefits of the workout. Some of our athletes who have benefitted from the tactical fitness programme include the Singapore Women’s Softball team and professional local soccer team, Tampines Rovers.
Tactical fitness at the PIT can be done in small groups or at a personal training level.
